Out with the old, in with the new! Comic-Con Attendee Preregistration will now be known as Comic-Con Returning Registration. Comic-Con 2017 Returning Registration is open to all Comic-Con 2016 paid attendees. First-time attendees, professionals, guest of professionals, trade professionals, exhibitors (and exhibitor-purchased attendee badges), volunteers, staff, complimentary passes, and press are not eligible to participate in Returning Registration.
Returning Registration for Comic-Con 2017 will occur sometime in early 2017.
You will not need to validate your Comic-Con 2016 badge number to participate. You can buy badges for up to three people – yourself included – during Returning Registration. Each person must have their own Comic-Con Member ID and must be eligible to participate in Returning Registration. You may not purchase badges for others using your own Member ID.
If you did not attend Comic-Con 2016, you may participate in Open Registration shortly after Returning Registration is complete in early 2017.
To participate in Open Registration, you must have a valid and confirmed Comic-Con Member ID. The Member ID system will close – without notice – in advance of Open Registration. Make sure you and anyone you wish to buy a badge for has their own confirmed Member ID well ahead of Open Registration or you may be left out! Please keep in mind that not all badges are sold during Returning Registration. There will be badges available during Open Registration.
Did your child attend Comic-Con 2016 and would like to be eligible for Comic-Con 2017 Returning Registration?
Children who attended Comic-Con 2016 with a paid adult attendee that were age 13 or older before October 1, 2016, are eligible to participate in Comic-Con 2017 Returning Registration! To register for eligibility, click here and complete the child-to-junior validation process before November 15, 2016. You will need the physical Comic-Con 2016 child badge to complete the validation process.
